We are looking for an Production Opeator who is organised and has great attention to detail.


Main Duties and Responsibilities. 

  • Running samples on automated analysers.
  • Modification and testing of automated analyser parameters.
  • Maintenance of analysers and other laboratory equipment.
  • General laboratory housekeeping.
  • Pipette calibration.
  • Entry and checking of data in Excel.
  • Writing of basic reports (protocols and results summary), on the correct documentation and to the correct
  • standard.
  • Planning and prioritising daily workload and organising time to undertake additional tasks.

Essential: 

  • Educated to A level, AS level or NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant subject or having previous relevant work experience
  • Good time management, self-organisation, and planning skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel  
  • Good communication skills, both written & verbal
  • Good team working skills
  • The ability to work independently, following set procedures
  • The ability to accurately record results (in reports and worksheets)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to quickly learn and perform detailed procedures
  • The ability to use initiative, be self-motivated, take responsibility. 
  • To be flexible to the needs of the business.

Hours: 40 hrs Based on site.
