Technical Business Analyst

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst who is organised and passionate individual who will be able to support our technical department on our IFS applications ERP system whilst supporting on new business initiatives, projects, and developments.  

Reporting into our Senior Technical Analyst, you will take responsibility on all technical aspects of our business such as Report Writing, IAL creations, Data Migration and configurable customisations.

The role is ideal for someone with a strong applications background and proven experience of delivering customer focused solutions in a regulated environment.

This role will be a combination of remote and Head Office Birmingham based 1-2 days a week and will be reviewed at a later date around working guidelines.

 

The Role

  • Support and maintain all of the organisation's ERP systems.
  • Carrying out development, evaluation and testing.
  • Creating and maintaining high levels of supporting documentation.
  • Assisting the Business systems team in project delivery and problem resolution.
  • Liaising with 3rd party support

Experience

  • 3 years technical experience within ERP/IFS development roles
  • Experience of working within a validation environment.
  • Sound Experience of using the following: -
  • Oracle PL/SQL
  • Crystal Reports
  • IFS Applications 8 or above
  • IFS Data Migration Tool
  • IFS Security, solution configuration and administration.
  • An understanding of cloud platforms such as OCI and Azure
  • Experience of the following would also be desirable:
    • Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programming
    • Microsoft VBA
    • Microsoft Power BI
    • Data warehousing

Location: Edgbaston, Birmingham 1-2 days office & remote. 

Hours: 40 hrs
