Specialist - Immunological Manufacturing

We have a fantastic new opportunity working in our Immunological department for a Specialist.  The role will include:

  • Presenting data and complete production records to the required standards and ensure data transfer and calculation are carried out correctly.
  • Writing and approving documents for new procedures or for major changes to procedures within their area.
  • Creating and document control new QC certificate/Data sheet versions.
  • Documenting non-conformances appropriately, write NCRs and obtain the correct sign offs.
  • Designing and writing protocols for investigational work and communicate requirements to other members of the investigation team and the Manufacturing teams.
  • Writing and reviewing investigation write ups.
  • Identifying problems/issues as they arise and communicate these to appropriate members of staff and to suggest potential solutions and improvements.

Essential:

  • GCSE in Maths, English and Science (or equivalent)
  • Previous laboratory experience.
  • Computer literate (Word/Excel) able to set up Excel spreadsheet formulae and graphs/charts.
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • To have a methodical approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • To be enthusiastic with the ability to motivate others
  • To be flexible to the needs of the business

Desirable:

  • Either educated to degree level, or if a degree level qualification is not held equivalent relevant experience gained from employment in a relevant scientific role.
