We have a new opportunity for a Warehouse Operative working at the Sovereign Road site, Kings Norton. The successful candidate will be involved in:
- Carrying out Goods Inwards, Warehouse Logistics and Pre-assembly activities.
- Actioning workload and completing the objectives set by the Goods In Manager in order to ensure that operational objectives of the department are met and delivered within agreed timescales.
- Communicating issues and challenges to the Goods In Manager and colleagues to ensure smooth day to day operational activity.
- Contributing in the development of operational procedures to ensure best practice and most efficient working practices.
- Ensuring the companies stocking policies and accuracies are followed.
- Suggesting improvement initiatives to ensure that the section is performing as efficiently as possible
Essential:
- Previous experience of working in a Warehouse environment
- Good organisational skills
- Good verbal communication skills
- Basic Computer literacy
- The ability to work to deadlines and follow procedures
- The ability to work as part of at team
- To be friendly and approachable
- To be flexible to the needs of the business
- To have an excellent work ethic
