Specialist - Production Support

We have new exciting opportunities for Specialists to work in our Production Support Department.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the investigation of Production Improvement activities and will be expected to maintain specialist knowledge relevant to manufacture and the use of assay.  The role will include completion of projects, investigations and experiments that have been directly assigned to you.
 
Duties and Responsibilities. 

  • Completion of investigation and experimental reports
  • Ensuring that any improvements initiatives are carried out in a timely manner.
  • Carrying out feasibility studies, designing experiments and analyser protocols.
  • Critically assess raw materials and generate raw material specifications including QC limits for new/existing assay components.
  • Assess new materials and equipment where necessary and give feedback on suitability for use.
  • Carrying out full process and equipment validation.
  • Developing specialist experience and knowledge with respect to immunoassays and so contribute to the specification and design of future products.
  • Carrying out design changes to existing products or processes when required and assist in the investigation of complaints if necessary.
  • Critically evaluate analytical methods and equipment to maintain highest possible standards.
  • Develop/contribute to new techniques/scientific understanding to improve upon existing and future products.
  • To represent the Company on scientific seminars/conferences if required

Essential: 

  • BSc or MSc in a relevant Scientific degree (or equivalent)
  • Experience within Bioanalytical methods
  • Excellent IT skills, including Excel, Word & Power Point
  • Excellent communication skills
  • To be well organized & proactive
  • To be hardworking & committed, enthusiastic
  • Excellent time management skills
  • To be flexible to the needs of the business
