SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS LIAISON

We have an opportunity working in our growing Global Marketing Team providing scientific expertise & insights.

The successful candidate will be involved in developing relationships with customers throughout the world, providing our commercial teams with vital future market needs information. Also engaging with customers to set up and support clinical studies of commercial expansion and support customers to analyse data, produce abstracts and manuscripts. 

This role is remote working & an expectation of 30% international travel. 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities. 

• Develop and manage customer relationships to support commercial strategy
• Provide internal and external product education in alignment with commercial strategy, including organisation of global customer presentations and delivery of scientific training sessions for Sales, Marketing and broader scientific teams
• Development and delivery of scientific material including slides, flyers, white papers, brochures
• Support customer studies that add knowledge for commercial expansion and support competitor defence
• Production of standard company presentations to align scientific and commercial message 
• Respond to internal and external requests for scientific information
• Have an understanding of The Binding Site assays, including clinical and assay performance 
• Production of accurate product risk landscapes, ensuring current clinical use of our assays is updated on a regular basis
• Provide PRL support globally and to internal depts. Monitor the scientific literature for new developments. Distillation of abstracts, peer reviewed papers relevant to TBS
• Update scientific web page content 

Desirable:-                 
1) PhD in Biochemistry or Immunology (or equivalent relevant experience )
2) Presentation at internal, national and international meetings
3) Previous experience working in IVD 
4) Previous experience working in clinical laboratory
5) Experience in international markets
