We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Territory Manager to work in our UK Sales Team covering South London, Kent, Sussex, Hampshire, Dorset, Devon, Cornwall, Somerset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Avon, Surrey.)   

Job Purpose:

This a customer interfacing sales role to deliver sales targets against budget in the designated Territory in line with the organisational objectives. The successful candidates will be required to support the Field Sales Manager and other territory managers and projects in line with national requirements.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities.

 

  • Delivery of territory-specific sales budget.  Grow, defend and maintain TBS business
  • Decision making, organisational responsibility and accountability for Territory 
  • Active account management including contracts for Territory
  • Work alongside territory MSL and manage own workload to meet the Territory’s objectives and targets.
  • Develop strong customer relationships with KOL in the laboratory
  • Full responsibility for their role and/or projects within the department on a day to day basis.
  • Motivated to drive their area of responsibility forward and achieve targets set.
  • Maintain confidentiality in company and employee matters.
  • Communicate effectively to members of the team and contribute in meetings.
  • Pro-actively problem solve.
  • Conform to all company SOPs including travel and expenses policies
  • Keep CRM data up to date and add activity notes on time and to the required standard
  • Deliver monthly report by 5th of the month to Field Sales Manager
  • Provide timely feedback to the Field Sales Manager from the field, including competitive activity and strategic activity
  • Liaise with the UKI Field Sales Manager and UKI Contracts Manager to complete successful tender bids on time

 

Essential:

  • Biological Science or Life Sciences qualification (BSc qualified or above).
  • A Minimum of one year’s clinical sales experience within the fields of Blood Sciences, Immunology, Biochemistry and/or Clinical Chemistry.
  • Key account management experience.
  • Experienced in completing competitive tenders.
  • Excellent organization Skills
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • To be Self-motivated
  • Excellent relationship building skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent working knowledge Microsoft Office, i.e. PowerPoint and Excel
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • To be personable, friendly and approachable
  • To be flexible to the needs of the business
  • Provide timely feedback to the Field Sales Manager from the field, including competitor activity and strategic activity
  • Holds a UK Driving License with no more than 3 points.
  • Must reside on territory.
