Head of Digital Marketing and Communications

This role will be responsible for developing TBS Digital Marketing and Communications strategy including external communications, marketing communications, advertising, public relations, brand development and management as well as event communications and management. The Head of Digital Marketing and Communications will ensure consistency across all customer-facing communications in addition to setting the creative direction. This role is critical in developing, promoting and achieving corporate business strategies through reaching and influencing internal and external audiences.  This is a brand-new role, and the successful candidate will be an integral member of the Global Marketing Leadership Teams and will be pivotal in shaping the marketing strategy and ensuring alignment with corporate goals reporting directly into Chief Marketing Officer. 


THE ROLE
• Responsible for setting and driving communications, brand and digital strategy.
• Responsible for maintaining brand voice and guidelines across all platforms and geographies.
• Manage brand and communication strategy and execute with outside partners as required.
• Create, oversee and share regular reports on campaign and brand KPI performance.
• Collaborate with customer facing teams and Global Marketing colleagues to deliver impactful and innovative campaigns, events and promotions including digital channels which drive corporate strategic vision.
• Own the brand voice and core messaging through the development of a holistic communication plan across multiple channels 
• Coordinate and execute TBS engagement at events in conjunction with marketing plans and within budget
• Lead the Digital Marketing and Communications team and ensure execution of brand, digital and communications strategy and marketing plans in served markets
• Recruit and develop Communications team to become dynamic, key talent for future of the company
• Management of the public relations agency and other relevant third-party relationships
• Create and manage global communications budget and ensure financial compliance


IDEAL CANDIDATE 
· Degree in Marketing, Brand Communication's, or related subject.
· 6-8 years of relevant experience in marketing communications and /or digital marketing to include minimum of 2 years digital marketing. 
· Minimum 5 years of people management experience 
· End to end marketing experience with particular focus on digital media
· Ability to lead by influence and drive stakeholder alignment
· Experience of working internationally
· Proven track record of assuming ownership, moving quickly to implement ideas, and delivering results
· Demonstrated drive, enthusiasm, and intensity with purpose
· Dynamic and innovative
· Demonstrable experience to adapt communication to the audience's needs.

Location: Birmingham- Hybrid 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Global travel will be required up to 15% of the time
