Receptionist

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a receptionist, who can deliver a professional and a welcoming first impression to visitors of the Company.  The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Answering all internal/external calls, relaying messages in a timely manner
  • Signing in contractors who are working on site, and contacting the relevant employee who they are here to see.
  • Issuing and recording of Parking Permits for on-site parking
  • Ordering and receiving refreshments for meetings and events / delivering lunches and arranging coffees for meetings
  • To arrange WIFI access & Security passes for visitors, audit of passes being returned daily
  • Monitoring of CCTV on Reception
  • To be responsible for managing the postal system, sorting incoming & outgoing post
  • To ensure the smooth running of Reception service, responding promptly to all visitors/callers using the main switchboard
  • To manage onsite parking for visitors and employees

Essential:

  • Reception experience
  • Excellent communication both face to face and over the telephone
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to work alone and in a team
  • To be enthusiastic with a positive attitude
  • To be friendly and approachable.
  • The ability to use own initiative and work autonomously
  • To have an excellent work ethic and to be flexible to the needs of the business

Location: Birmingham

Hours: This role would suit a full-time or a job share.  Hours for a job share would either be 7.30 am to 12.30 pm Monday to Friday or 12.30 pm to 5.30 pm Monday to Friday.

Full-time contracted hours would be 9.00 am to 5.30 pm.
