QA ASSISTANT-QC ANALYST

We are looking for a QA Assistant who is organised and has great attention to detail. 

QA Assistant role is responsible for conducting incoming & outcoming checks to ensure our products are of the highest standard. 

The Role  

  • Ensuring components and processes are Regulatory and Quality System Compliant. 
  • Conduct inspections of incoming raw materials & Finished goods stock. 
  • Investigate component quality and/or technical issues and where necessary propose corrective and preventative actions. 
  • Timely action and completion of day-to-day work activities, including involvement with part set up, control plan creation and amendment. 
  • Collaboration and communication with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure both internal and external customer satisfaction. 
  • Raising of NCR’s, completion of relevant paperwork and actively working with Quality Engineer/other Departments to provide a resolution. 
  • Equipment maintenance and calibration. 
  • Respond effectively to Product Change and New Product Development. 
  • Undertaking QC team process improvement projects. 
  • Updating SOP’s and associated documentation. 
  • Training other staff members. 
  • Archiving incoming and outgoing inspection document records. 
  • Raising and owning change orders. 
  • Performing Raw Materials testing and following Laboratory practices. 
  • Willingness to work in various environments such as Office, Warehouse, Laboratory and Assembly area. This may involve manual handling and operating Hand Pallet Truck. This also involves wearing appropriate PPE (in the Warehouse and in the Laboratory area). 

The Ideal Candidate 

  • GCSE Maths & English (A-C) 
  • Good computer skills 
  • Ideally experience within QC checking or QA / RA environment 
  • Excellent communications & organisational skills 
  • Ability and background of working to deadlines and problem-solving abilities

Hours: 40 hrs Based on site.
