Specialist - Product Performance Testing Team

We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Specialist to work in our Product Performance Testing Team. 

Primary responsibility to provide support to the manufacturing teams through the completion of investigation of technical issues, process and equipment improvement projects, staff training, and manufacturing standards as directed. To implement changes arising from this work, NCR’s and CAPA’s following the relevant change process ensuring implementation of all necessary documentation and training.

The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Working as an effective team member with specialists and supervisors to deliver orders on time and in full.
  • Planning and prioritising the workload within their responsibility with little input from the manager, ensuring timely delivery of work.
  • Collaborate with Manufacturing Support and Manufacturing to resolve NCR/CAPA and improve Product Health.
  • Strive for Continuous Improvement working to increase Process Efficiency and reduce Process Error.
  • Work to become a Subject Matter Expert, review and improve the manufacturing training curriculum and support in training activities.
  • Have full awareness of and be compliant to the company quality system.  Regular interaction with the company change control system. Participate in validation activities.
  • Participate in risk assessment activities (Impact, pFMEA, H&S)
  • Support manufacturing activities when required.

 Essential:

  • Either educated to degree level, or equivalent relevant experience gained from employment in a relevant scientific role.
  • Previous laboratory experience.
  • Computer literate (Word/Excel) able to set up Excel spreadsheet formulae and graphs/charts.
  • Experience of working in a team
  • Experience of working to deadlines
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • A methodical approach and attention to detail.
