We have a fantastic new opportunity for a L&D Business Partner to work in our busy HR department.  The successful candidate will be involved in:

  • Creating and designing Learning and Development Training Programmes in-line with business objectives that support the business strategy
  • Liaising with key stakeholders and Managers to design and deliver new learning interventions and solution on leadership and management development
  • Identifying the learning needs of individuals and groups across the business.
  • Evaluating individual and business development needs by identifying and monitoring training KPI’s
  • Communicating Data and metrics that informs and supports learning, progression, and succession planning
  • Assessing the success of development plans and helping the business make the most of learning opportunities
  • Helping managers to develop their teams through coaching skills and skills gap analysis
  • Acting as a learning partner within the company to design and develop compelling L&D interventions
  • Providing learning and development insight, expertise and coaching to senior leaders, acting as a trusted advisor
  • Supporting the L&D Manager in the development, implementation, and regular review of and the L&D people development strategy
  • To be fully responsible for our UK corporate induction process by review, design, updates, and delivery, considering Global induction training requirements
  • Working collaboratively across departments and global learning interventions and reviews
  • Working closely with HR business partners to deliver a true partnership role to the business, supporting the identification of learning needs through consulting and analysis of data and proposing innovative and impactful learning solutions that have a strong business rationale
  • Supporting the project implementation of new systems such as the LMS development and integration 
  • Delivering HR induction, Systems, learning portals, LMS, Personal Development, Behavioral and Management Development Programmes

Essential criteria:

  • CIPD qualification or working towards (or equivalent) with a focus on learning and development
  • Previous experience of designing & delivering a high-quality variety of in-house training courses
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the training cycle
  • Knowledge of working with 3rd party training providers 
  • Experience of stakeholder management at all levels
  • Awareness and understanding of Apprenticeships
  • Experience of soft skills / behavioral training Programmes
  • Experience of evaluation/KPI’s and learning tools
  • Excellent communication skills with colleagues at all levels
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • The ability to engage and motivate others
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • The ability to influence others and change behaviours where possible
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
  • To be friendly and approachable
  • To have a confident and engaging delivery style.
  • Strong team focus and excellent team building skills

Location: Birmingham- Calthorpe Road Edgbaston  

Hours: 40 hrs   (hybrid working 3 days in the office, 2 days at home)
